Perhaps you do not want to commit to an all inclusive weekend trip, or you might already be staying in the area on holiday and want to try bikepacking with a guide for just one night.

Jim has carefully put together this 18 hour, ‘Sub 24 hours Overnighter - S24O’ experience from 5pm one day until 11am the next.  This micro adventure is for folk who might be completely new to bikepacking, camping or biking off road, or you might only have time for an S24O.  You do not need any special equipment, just a love of the outdoors and a sense of adventure!

Group sizes are from one rider to a maximum of four and the price is £55 per person.

  1. Grab your bike, it doesn’t really matter what kind, as long as it’s safe and works!

  2. Put a sleeping bag, a change of clothes, a toilet bag, a head torch and a snack for later in a rucksack.

  3. Contact Jim at rideawaybikepacking to arrange a date to try bikepacking between 5pm and 11am the next day.

  6. Set up camp using a high quality, lightweight tent or shelter provided for use free of charge.

  8. Wake up bright and early with a cup of coffee amongst the beautiful sights and sounds of the forest, hills or river.
